The prospect of spending a sizeable chunk of your annual income on your wedding can leave you with a knot in your stomach \u2013 and it\u2019s one that can\u2019t be filled with food!<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this is the reality of what most brides and grooms are faced with. According to Bride Book<\/a>, millennial couples are spending a massive 45% of their combined annual income on saying \u2018I do\u2019. This can be made up of a number of expenses, including the food. You can, however, always cut the cost of the catering without necessarily cutting corners. We have come up with some ways to do that.<\/p>\n

Do feed people<\/h2>\n

Cutting back on food could be a huge mistake. What you should really be doing is providing more heavyset meals at a fraction of the price. Take, for instance, fish and chip van hire<\/a>. This is an affordable dish that won\u2019t break the bank, but at the same time it will more than do the trick when it comes to leaving your friends feeling like they’ve been well fed.<\/p>\n

You can think outside the box without spending every last penny on the catering. Just because you\u2019re tightening those purse strings doesn\u2019t mean that you can\u2019t go slightly rogue and serve something out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n
